Letterhead Research Agreement &
Release

Introduction
Thank you for your interest in participating in user experience (UX) research
conducted by WhereBy.Us Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Letterhead ("Letterhead").
This agreement outlines the terms under which you will participate in the
research study and explains how your data will be collected, used, and
protected, in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

1. Purpose of the Research Study
The purpose of this study is to gather insights and feedback to improve our
products, services, and overall user experience. This may include testing
prototypes, discussing your interaction with our platform, or observing your
use of our services.

2. Voluntary Participation
Participation in this research is entirely voluntary. You have the right to
withdraw from the study at any time, without penalty, and you are not
obligated to answer any questions or provide information that you are
uncomfortable sharing. Your decision to participate or not will not affect your
relationship with Letterhead.

3. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information and maintaining
confidentiality.

Types of Data Collected: During this study, we may collect the following
types of data:
- Personal Information: Name and contact information (e.g., email
address, phone number).
- Behavioral Data: Information related to your usage of our platform or
interaction with prototypes, including actions taken, navigation
behavior, and feedback.
- Recordings: Audio or video recordings of the research session.

Data Retention Policy: We will retain your personal data for as long as
necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this agreement, including any
legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Personal data will generally be
retained for up to 12 months after the study's conclusion unless applicable
laws require a longer retention period. After this time, your data will either be
securely deleted or anonymized.
Access to your data is limited to authorized personnel involved in the
research process, and industry-standard security measures protect it.

4. Recording Consent

You agree that Letterhead may record both audio and video of the session,
and may retain such recordings in accordance with the above Data Retention
Policy.

5. Use of Information
The data gathered from this research will be used to improve product
development, design decisions, and user experience enhancements.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties.
Letterhead will not make any information from your participation, including
any recordings, available publicly, nor distribute it beyond such employees,
contractors, subcontractors, and service providers as are necessary to
facilitate the purpose of the research study outlined above. However,
anonymized and aggregated data may be shared with trusted partners or
third-party service providers for analytical purposes. All such parties are
contractually bound to ensure your information is handled securely and
confidentially.

7. Compensation (If Applicable)

Letterhead may, at its sole discretion, offer compensation for your
participation in the study. If offered, details of the incentive (e.g., gift cards,
vouchers) will be provided at the time of the study and confirmed with you in
writing prior to your participation.

Any compensation provided is solely in consideration for your voluntary
participation in the study and the time spent (typically 30-60 minutes). Such
compensation does not create any employment, contractor, or other ongoing
relationship between you and Letterhead. Furthermore, it does not confer
any additional rights or impose any obligations beyond those explicitly stated
in this agreement.

If you withdraw from the study before its completion, any offered
compensation may be forfeited at Letterhead's discretion. Letterhead
reserves the right to modify or withdraw the compensation offer at any time
prior to the completion of the study.

By accepting any compensation, you acknowledge and agree that it is
provided solely as an incentive for your participation and does not entitle you
to any additional benefits, payments, or considerations beyond what is
explicitly stated in this agreement.

8. Release and Waiver of Liability

By participating in this research study, you acknowledge and agree to the
following:

a) Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and
forever discharge Letterhead, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees,
agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages,
actions, or causes of action arising from or related to your participation in the
research study.

b) Assumption of Risk: You understand and acknowledge that participation in
this research study may involve certain inherent risks. You voluntarily assume
all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence
of Letterhead or others, and assume full responsibility for your participation.

c) Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Letterhead be liable for any direct,
indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or damages for loss of
profits, revenue, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party, whether in an
action in contract or tort, arising from or related to your participation in the
research study. Letterhead's total liability for all claims arising from or related
to this agreement shall not exceed the amount of compensation provided to
you for your participation in the study, if any.

d) Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Letterhead
from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, including attorneys' fees, arising
out of your participation in the research study, including any violation of this
agreement or applicable laws.

This release and waiver of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a
release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
